I know that good governance improves the performance of organisations, and can work with all organisations to help them consider their governance against the best practices of their sector and more widely.

Building a portfolio career combining non-executive and consultancy roles and open to new opportunities across different sectors, I have flexibility to work with organisations at a pace which works for them.

I have been a director / trustee of a large Multi Academy Trust, a charity working with high-risk ex-offenders, a housing charity, and a university chaplaincy trust, and Company Secretary for two companies, so have experience of the relationship challenges that sometimes affect good governance in practice. Prior to that I had nearly 20 years experience at various levels in the university sector, in managerial roles across a range of disciplines.
