I have been a director / trustee of a large Multi Academy Trust, a charity working with high-risk ex-offenders, a housing charity, and a university chaplaincy trust, and Company Secretary for two companies, so have experience of the relationship challenges that sometimes affect good governance in practice. Prior to that I had nearly 20 years experience at various levels in the university sector, in managerial roles across a range of disciplines.
